RM Watches USA

Sourcing, and what arrives before it ships

Six makers, four questions, and photographs of your own watch.

What do we ask every source?

  1. Which movement family is in this watch, and is the balance free-sprung?
  2. Is the case machined for this reference, and what does the profile measure in millimetres?
  3. Can you photograph this exact watch, with a caliper in frame, before it ships?
  4. What is the lead time on this configuration, and what happens if it is out of stock?

If a source cannot answer the third question, we do not order. Photographs of a different watch, or a photograph with someone else's watermark on it, are not evidence of anything.

Where do the photographs come from?

Every image we send a buyer is taken of the watch they are buying. Listing photographs here are factory reference images, published with our own watermark and with no other station's branding. Photographs of the genuine watch appear only in the reference block on a model page, labelled and attributed, so proportions can be compared. We do not repost another station's photographs.

Which makers do we source from?

SZ-V

A9 Studio

Shenzhen Vaucher class

Release cadence through 2026 has been the fastest of any Richard Mille maker we track; free-sprung movement, strongest value in the class.

SH-V

Boss Studio

Shanghai Vaucher class

Sold through dealers only; movement comes from the Shanghai Vaucher line. One reference, four configurations.

Custom

UMI

Parmi-class custom

Custom-order house: the RM 67-02 V10 is its main Richard Mille build. Built to spec, not off the shelf.

Mid

Mille Studio

Shenzhen Vaucher class

Wide RM035/RM055/RM67-01 range; a value option when a reference is out of stock elsewhere.

Volume

ZF

Shenzhen Vaucher class

Highest-volume Richard Mille maker historically, but its RM055 is the older movement family with visible rib differences.

Tourbillon

BBR

Shenzhen Vaucher class

Where we go when the order is a tourbillon rather than a free-sprung skeleton.

Chrono

ABMF

Shenzhen Vaucher class

The label behind most RM 011 chronographs; a chronograph movement rather than a free-sprung skeleton.

Checked on 15 October 2026 against the records behind Sourcing, and what arrives before it ships.

What do buyers ask before ordering?

Why is nothing in stock?

Allocation on these references moves week to week, and a reference available today may be gone next month. We would rather quote what a source actually has than advertise a catalogue that goes stale.
